Who we are

12 Tribes Studios & Productions Ltd, a podcast studio in London at 152–154 Curtain Road, London EC2A 3AT. We decide how the information below is used and are responsible for looking after it. Contact: hello@12tribesstudios.com.

What we collect

• If you ask to hear when bookings open: your name and email address.
• Technical basics: Cloudflare, which hosts this site and protects it from attacks and automated abuse, processes standard connection details (such as your IP address and the page requested). Visitor statistics are measured with Plausible, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data.
• Bot protection: the sign-up form uses Google reCAPTCHA, through Firebase App Check, to confirm it is used by a person rather than an automated script. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and browser and how the page is used, and sends it to Google.

Why we use it

• To email you once when bookings open, because you asked us to (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To protect the form and this site from spam and abuse (our legitimate interest).

We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Your sign-up is stored in Google Firebase, our database provider, and arrives in our business inbox. We keep it until we have sent the email telling you bookings are open, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Who we share it with

Only providers who process it on our behalf: Google (Firebase and reCAPTCHA), our email provider, and Cloudflare. Some of them may process information outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Cookies

No advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) to tell real visitors from bots, which expires after 30 minutes without activity, and reCAPTCHA may set a Google security cookie (such as _GRECAPTCHA). Both are used only to protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@12tribesstudios.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
